Aiming to develop key master-planning principles and design illustrations for Royal Albert Dock, building from the appraisal and vision set out previously
Master Plan Approaches and Principles
In this section of the site I will set out my key approaches to, and principles of the master-planning of the RAD site. These will be linked to the shared vision we had for the site on our group web pages and can form the basis of my design illustrations. Details on Post-Covid Cities concept have been provided and how this may impact master-planning for the site
Design Illustrations
My master plan principles and approaches will be illustrated in detailed plans of three subsections of the RAD site, including plans for the Dock Managers listed building in the center of the site currently. My three plan areas will include proposed land uses plus in-depth physical design plans
Linking Physical and Social Regeneration
For this section I will provide further details on my design and master-planning proposals that link directly to my chosen implementation theme of linking physical and social regeneration benefits. This theme is prevalent in the vision, and must is integral to any master-planning that may occur to the site.
